July 25 2006 The public website for the book discussion series and online registration form is online, thanks to LTS and Michael Spears. Some of the ALA's brochures have been customized with our information and will be given out at this evening's play. Leftovers will be put out at the MU Theatre Dept. box office.

June 13 2006 Marilyn McLeod told me today that Columbia Public Library will pay University City Public Library to ship 15-20 copies of each title in the series, as long as they get to keep the books. I said that'd be fine. Depending on the university rules about book purchases, we may decide to buy one copy of any of the books we do not already own (there may be 1 or 2) from Columbia Public for $5 apiece, or just purchase copies from our vendors. -RLB
